Parkhill Estate, Sheffield. Taken in 2006 when renovations were just starting. Parkhill is a Grade II listed building, one of the iconic structures of postwar Britain. When it was built it was widely hailed as the answer to the slums of Sheffield but it had been wilfully neglected for many years and fell from favour. Plans to renovate it and bring it up to date are now underway (and well overdue).
